THE “LEISURE BOUTIQUE” Way

Live life and dream big. It’s a BIG WILD WORLD out there with so much to see and experience. So many interesting people to meet. So many places to explore above and below the water. Never be afraid to try new things, and everyone needs to chase their passion, we know we’re chasing ours.

Keep it personal. Everyone wins when group sizes are small – that’s why we only take out 6 DIVERS MAXIMUM. We are a small, owner operated dive business and customer service is at the forefront of our ideology.

Protect what you love. The ocean is our happy place and we’re committed to doing everything we can to keep it that way.

REBECA

DIVE MASTER

Originally from Santiago, Chile, Rebeca (“Rebe”) did her first ever dive in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia and was instantly hooked. Armed with her passport and her PADI Open Water Diver card in hand she set off to travel the world and learn everything she could about the oceans and all the amazing creatures that call them home. Previously a teacher back in Chile, she loves to not only show you all those incredible underwater animals but also teach you about how they fit in and contribute to our delicate Utila ecosystem.  Now please open your Fish ID books to page 27… Today’s lesson: SEAHORSES!!

BRIAN

INSTRUCTOR

Brian first set foot on Utila for a three week visit back in 2012 and immediately fell in love with the island and its old fashioned Caribbean charm. Born and raised in the Washington DC area, he left city life behind for a “one year” overseas adventure but caught the travel bug and never returned! He’s been working as a dive instructor for almost 10 years in Hawaii, Indonesia, Grand Cayman, and Utila. His above water interests include gardening, raising ducks, riding motorcycles, and according to him… “fixing sh*t!”

CHRIS

CAPTAIN

Captain Chris grew up on the Utila Cays and has spent almost his whole life exploring Utila’s expansive reef system and fighting to protect it! He’s both a licensed captain and PADI scuba instructor and an absolute expert at tracking down Utila’s larger than life whale sharks and dolphins. Underwater he has the astonishing ability to spot small critters that you never knew existed. When he does venture onto dry land you can usually find him on the baseball field pitching for the Utila Pirates.

- our boat -

Our custom 31 foot Tiara handles the waves with ease and is decked out to provide maximum diver space and comfort. With cushioned seats and loads of space, this is the perfect boat to explore Utila’s world famous north side. We set up your equipment on the ride out, so kick your feet up and relax, enjoy the view, and listen to Chris tell a few stories (tall tales?) about Utila’s rich pirate history. Some of them might actually be true! We provide food and drinks (water, sodas, cookies, and fruit), a fresh water shower, camera rinse tank, towels, equipment storage and of course state of the art safety equipment. Our boat reflects our mission statement: To create the most enjoyable and dive friendly atmosphere in the Caribbean!
